2026 Spring and Summer Events.

Our club meet events for 2026 have been arranged to take advantage of the longer daylight hours towards the end of Spring and Early Summer. Hopefully the weather conditions will also continue to be favour us as in previous years! 🤞😎

Our events this year are both week day events due to group booking restrictions at one of the Broads most popular venues but will also enable "working" crews to plan a short break minimising the need to book Annual Leave. The selected dates also maximise the favourable daytime tides/crossing times for boats and crews visiting their "away" Broads system, either side of the actual events. This is especially important for those travelling late afternoon heading North  up the Bure, given the reduced number of moorings at Acle and anywhere in between there and Great Yarmouth!

If you are crossing to the "away" Broads system for the first time contact me for a suggested journey itinerary/timetable and/or if you wish to journey across with other boats and crews (- we will do our best to link you up, but will need to know your own travel plans i.e outbound and return dates).

Beccles - Spring Event - Tues/Weds 12-13 May
Reserved stern on yacht station mooring, with access to electric hook up (subject to availability + Beccles electricity card available from Harbour Master) and water. Arrive Tuesday around 11:30-12:00 hrs, depart Wednesday around 10:30-11:00 Hrs hrs. Mooring fees payable on the day to Beccles Harbourmaster. 10 berths pre-booked - more can be added depending on demand.

Advance registration and booking required. Mooring fees payable on the day direct to the harbour master (cards, cash etc). All fees are normal public rates.

Salhouse Broad - Summer Event - Mon/Tues 22-23 June
Reserved stern on berth on No 2 moorings, Arrive Monday from 11:30 hrs, depart Tuesday around 10:30 hrs. Mooring fees payable in advance.

Advanced registration and booking required for reserved mooring. 24 Boats maximum, so book early for this popular event. Mooring fees payable in advance via the club (details will be provided). Mooring fees are at standard published group booking rate.
