June 21st was the date and Waveney River Centre was the venue for the first 2014 HSBC meet up.
11 boats attended the Waveney River Centre meet:
Maytime Safari, Lanson, Moonshine, Barney, Audere, White Orchid and Take Five from the Southern system with Free Spirit, Maudie, Gentle Lady and Pableka crossing over from the North.
It was a slightly lower key affair than the 2013 CIC at Salhouse presumably due to fewer Northern boats making the Breydon crossing. Nonetheless an enjoyable and sociable weekend was had by all.
The meet culminated in most of the attendees cruising from WRC down to Geldeston followed by a farewell drink in the Wherry Inn and a resolution to meet up again on the Northside in August.
(Our sincere apologies to Pableka - looks like we missed you out of the initial photos probably due to the arrival of the Waveney Stardust and then by the time the cameras came out again the following day you had left! Don't worry - we'll get you properly in shot next time!).
